The Yachtmaster Exam started at 0100 this morning and finished at 1600 sailing out of Port D'aro. A fairly intensive assessment delivered by a RYA Examiner put James through his paces. RYA Day Skipper and RYA Yachtmaster Coastal Skipper Theory Courses Barcelona

Undertaken in our Port Vell classrooms in the Maritime Building at the waters edge Barcelona we run RYA Theory Courses every week for Crews working towards their Yachtmaster Qualifications. RYA Day Skipper Theory is a 40 hour course covering the basics of Power and Sail navigation whilst the Yachtmaster Coastal is an advanced course for Yachtmasters. Both courses can be run at weekends, evenings or an intensive 5 day course. VHF and First aid can be added to the RYA theory courses. Need help give us a call on 0034 972 662 494. Barcelona RYA Yachtmaster Exam

RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Exam and prep week commencing 28th June with the assessment on the weekend of the 3rd July. Whilst you do not need to have any formal RYA Training to undertake the Exam you will need to demonstrate the following requirements. In short you should have sailed 2500 miles in the last 10 years, half Tidal, and completed 5 times 60 mile passages 2 as Skipper 2 at night. The Yachtmaster Prep week costs £695 and will give you the guidance needed for the RYA Yachtmaster Exam.

Yachtmaster Fastrack includes all the 1 day RYA Courses VHF, Radar, Sea Survival, First Aid, cost £7495. RYA/MCA Fastrack FASTRACK Yachtmaster Plus includes the STCW95 course and costs £8495 and lasts 15 weeks. Get ready to work in the Super Yacht industry we'll qualify you to Captain up to 200 Gross Tons.
